CHINESE FAMILY HISTORY GROUP
​OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (CFHGSC)

The Chinese Family History Group of Southern California seeks to inspire people to discover their family histories by providing a community for exchange of information and support for those interested in researching, recording, and preserving the experiences of their Chinese and Chinese American ancestors. The organization started with a handful of friends in 2012 and has now expanded to be a community that is an internationally recognized source for genealogical discovery. In order to share its discoveries, a website, e-mail and social media presence were established.

Preserving Family Histories for Future Generations

I facilitated the growth of the CFHGSC from a small grassroots group of genealogy researchers to a fully-incorporated non-profit that is helping to preserve the Chinese and Chinese-American experience.
